I believe that we are very close to the Lord's return and it is very important how we live out our life in Him and what we do with the talents He has given us.

God bless you in your ministry LaurieBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16165344093549650260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8901842915517693862.post-86331296263213496522014-08-06T12:32:06.057-07:002014-08-06T12:32:06.057-07:00Thanks, Donald! It seems that the time frame was similar in both the US and UK, and as I remember, the US variety had shields on them. They were called "S & H Green Stamps" -- I don't know what S & H stood for. We got them at the Acme market, a popular chain of food markets in those days.
God bless,
LaurieLaurie Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10676088158113572565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8901842915517693862.post-86842327169971049492014-08-03T15:14:00.353-07:002014-08-03T15:14:00.353-07:00Dear Laurie,

The value of gifts redeemed depended on the number of completed books filled - the greater number of books required, the higher value of the gift (as we called them). Sadly, the scheme folded around the mid 1970s and was never revived.
An excellent post. God bless.Frank E.
